Villa Sole is the major portion of a large beautifully restored 13th century villa with a 1200m2 private garden.

 

Located in a panoramic position glancing the famous Chianti hills, less than half an our by car from Florence city centre, Villa Sole is immersed  into wine yards and olives trees.

During the autumn period -upon request- you can organize your self-production of a top class extra-virgin olive oil picking from part of the 100+ olive trees of the  property.

 

Villa  Sole stands prominently at the top of a 1km asphalted road with two other villas nearby. 

 

The villa, completely stoned - built, has two entrances, two porches, a large private garden closed off.

 

The three of total five front-sides of the villa are in three floors , night area on the second, day zone and studio/library  on the first.

The main entrance  has a wooden patio covered  by wild wineyards facing the incomparable Tuscany sunset.

 

At main floor:

a fully equipped  kitchen

a dining room for six people

a large living room with an antique original fireplace

a bathroom provided  with washing machine and laundry’s  accessories.

 

The night area is made of:

One double bedroom (king size bed)

One double bedroom (two twins beds)

One room with a queen size sofa bed

 

The house is ideal for four adults, although it can house six people.

 

The apartment has a large private parking area.

 

It is a perfect base to relax and visit Florence, Pisa, Siena and Chianti, one of most beautiful countryside in the world, and the whole wonderful Tuscany.

 

The hillside offers visitors  chance to indulge in their favourite sports such as golf, mountain bike, tennis, horse riding, walking, swimming, fishing, bird watching, mushrooms searching, etc.

 

The most convenient airport is Florence’s  airport, but Pisa is also near (less than one hour by car or bus, train from Florence).

Locality Description:

San Casciano in Val di Pesa is a lovely village situated to the south of Florence and is  a perfect  starting point to visit the most attractive Tuscan cities like Siena, Pistoia, Lucca, Pisa and many others.

San Casciano is in the famous  Chianti area that offers a lot of tourist attractions during the whole year;  food festivals, local markets and art exhibitions.

During  summer season every village around organize several food and music sagra, in June and September middleage towns  makes ancient medieval party with old dishes and  dresses and  it’s seems to be in a novel.

Several are the occasions for visiting castles, medieval towns, etruscan tombs, romanic churches and the famous Certosa monastery which inspire with it’s cellar rooms the architect Les Corbusier.

San Casciano  is an ancient village but you can find there  all kind of modern shops and food markets very well organized.

Enjoy the food

You will not forget our excellent cuisine. There are several famous  dishes, as well the traditional Tuscan cuisine. You may prefer a pizza prepared in the traditional way or a terrific “Bistecca alla Fiorentina” (Florentce steak). Don’t miss out on savoring the wonderful range of Tuscan wines, such as the “Montecarlo” white wine or the more classic “Chianti” reds. Most dishes are served with vegetables.

Enjoy the nightlife

At night you can take a quiet “passeggiata” (stroll) along the promenade, maybe tasting a “gelato” (Italian ice-cream), or choose the exciting Florence nightlife many good restourant such as La Giostra, enoteca Pinchiorri, Fuord’acqua to eat fish and locals like Nove, Noir…  . In July and August don’t miss the Opera at the  “Puccini Festival” in Torre del Lago.

Chianti  area is easily accessed by road, rail and air:

Florence  www.aeroporto.firenze.it   ph. +39 055 315874 (approx 30 minutes journey time)
They are both  within easy driving distance on good motorways.
Hire a car at the airport (www.hertz.com)
Take A1 (autostrada) FIRENZE direction and exit at FIRENZE CERTOSA. After the payroll turn on the right to SIENA direction and exit at Tavanelle Val di Pesa.

Rental Rates:

Rates include:
the use of the villa including water, electricity, gas for cooking, lawn & garden maintenance, english speaking assistance by the owner, park ang garden use.Towels and linen provided with 1 weekly change.
Rates exclude:
Heating cost: euro 60 daily for Gpl heating, euro 18 daily if you choose for eco wodden pellet heating. Final cleaning euro 100 - A 500 € security deposit has to be paid locally to the owner or his/her representative; it will be returned on departure less phone calls and breakages.
Term and conditions:
During high seasons rentals run from Saturday to Saturday - During med and low season the change overday can be flexible.
Booking:
It is possible booking your holiday upon availability request via e-mail at
info@italytuscanyrentals.com and our booking staff will give you immediate reply. Once we'll
confirmed the availability a 30% of the total amount will be requested as booking reservation;
after we'll send you a booking confirmation via e-mail or via fax (only on request). The
settlement will have to be transfered within 30 days before the arrival date. We accept
payments with Bank Transfer or online (PayPal system).
Payment options:
swift money transfer or payment on line. A 30% of the rental fee is request at time of booking,
the balance will have to be transfered within 30 days before the arrival date
Cancellation policy:
Cancellations from the booking date to 60° day before the arrival : penality of 30 % on the total rental amount.
Cancellations from 59° to 30° day before the arrival date: penality of 50% of the total rental amount.
Cancellations from 29° day to the arrival : penalty of 100% of the total rental amount.
